Capital Restaurant Concepts., Ltd. (CRC) is the premier restaurant operator in the metro Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Our history goes back to the 1982 opening of J.Paul's — An American Dining Saloon, in Washington, DC's historic Georgetown. Originated by Paul J. Cohn, an icon in the music business, the restaurant was an immediate success and one of the catalysts in the rejuvenation of Washington's entertainment district. In 1985, J.Paul's, was acquired by Capital Management and Development Corporation (CMDC). An entrepreneurial organization since its inception, CMDC financed the growth of the company through partnerships, all under the common management and control of CMDC.
