Trohv writes: rohv is an inventive, independently-owned shop featuring home goods and gifts. We aim to inspire your shopping experience with varied collections of new and vintage goods. Our mix of urban grit and southern sensibility playfully blends multiple aesthetics to create an artful sense of home and personal style. Our original store, Red Tree (renamed Trohv in January 2011), opened in October 2006 in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. Deciding to expand in order to add new accessory lines and an upholstery and leather line, we opened a second level in November 2007 and nearly doubled our original size. Since opening, Red Tree/Trohv has won numerous awards* and developed an ever-expanding group of dedicated customers from New York City to Richmond, Virginia. In response to growing customer demand, Trohv decided to open a new store in the DC Metro area. After a thoughtful search, Trohv decided to locate in a nearly 8000 square foot space (originally a neighborhood A&P grocery!) on the DC side of the Takoma Park Historic District. Takoma Park provides convenient access for residents of DC (one block from “Takoma” stop on the DC Metro) and the many southern Montgomery County and northern Virginia communities. And, thankfully, we even have parking!
