One of three main Thai cermanics, celadon pottery takes its name from the exquisite glaze imported thousands of years ago from Chinese master potters to replicate their beautiful and beloved jade. Derived from the Sanskrit words "sila" meaning stone, and "dhara" meaning green, this high-fired Emerald celadon is uniquely recognized by its color, thick and strong composition and the delicate cracks underneath the glaze. This stoneware represents the harmonious balance between strength, beauty and history....what we try to achieve through our food.
