Dairy Godmother writes: Once we’re out of these April Showers I’m sure there will be plenty of May flowers! While you’re out enjoying the bloom, come on down to The Dairy Godmother to enjoy some Wisconsin-style Frozen Custard! Every day we have Vanilla and Chocolate as well as a special Flavor of the Day, and you can print out a calendar here. The one I’m looking forward to most is Breakfast in Bed, which is maple custard with waffle cone pieces and bacon bits for Mothers’ Day! Again this summer we’ll have our ever-so-fancy ice pops, in exotic flavours like Elderberry, Mango-Lime, and Blueberry-Lavender-Cream, as well as old standbys like Rootbeer Float and Ginger-Lemon. We are also elated to announce that starting in May we will have the Pop Culture! cart out on Market Square in Old Town Alexandria selling the same pops you find here in the shop! Stop on by and give the prodigious employee manning the cart someone to talk to!
