Opened in 2015 by Chefs Jonah Kim and Mike Isabella, Yona is a full-service noodle bar and Japanese small plates restaurant serving lunch and dinner daily. The menu features both traditional and more inventive takes on ramen, including Kim’s tonkotsu pork broth and noodles made exclusively for the restaurant. In addition to ramen, the menu offers small plates that reflect both the chef’s Korean heritage and Japanese culinary training. Steamed duck buns and crispy Brussels sprouts with fermented chili mayo find a place alongside apples dressed with miso butter and plates of Korean-style chicken wings, double-fried with a gochujang-bourbon glaze. The lunch menu features quick-serve items for professionals on-the-go, while the beverage program showcases craft beer, sake, and specialty cocktails by Mike Isabella Concepts Beverage Director Taha Ismail.
